Peradon Knight Snooker Cue

£329.00

This full size 58” cue was crafted by Peradon the world’s longest established cue manufacturing company founded in 1885.

Finest quality, kiln dried ash shafts are hand selected for strength and straightness before being shaped to an accurately dimensioned cue blank.  The composition Ebonex material is then spliced to the cut to produce the distinctive four rounded point pattern of a hand spliced cue.  Ebonex was developed by Peradon to be the perfect rigidity for play and to be more consistent in density than any traditional timber but not create superior playing characteristics.

Numerous sanding and finishing processes are then undertaken to achieve a unique silk smooth finish prior to the fitting of the solid brass ferrule and 9.5 to 10mm Elkmaster Tip.

Cue Care

Peradon cues need to be cared for correctly as they are tapered pieces of timber. If they are not, there is a high possibility of  warping.

First, to check the straightness of your cue you must not roll it on the table. This is because cues are never perfectly elongated tapers.  Instead, cues should be “sighted” which is the method used by cue makers at each stage of production. In order to do this look down the cue’s length from butt to tip turning the cue slowly, any warpage will be easy to see. By following the advice below will ensure that your cue remains in perfect condition for every game.

  • Store your cue upright in a cue rack or vertically in a cue case in a cool dry place
  • Keep your cue away from radiators, hot water pipes and out of direct sunlight and hot vehicles.
  • Don’t lean your cue against the wall.
  • Refrain from leaning on your cue whilst playing
  • Do not bang the butt of the cue on the floor to acknowledge good strokes
