Peradon King 3/4 Joint Snooker Cue
Peradon King 3/4 jointed Snooker Cue
This full size (58 inch) cue is crafted by Peradon in England. The cue is produced from the highest grade, kiln dried, North American Ash and spliced with Ebony. The Ash is carefully selected for strength and straightness before being turned and hand spliced to the finest Ebony butt timber. Then the cue is shaped to produce the distinctive four round point pattern of a hand spliced cue.
The four decorative Olivewood splices with Sycamore and Plum veneers are then hand spliced to the butt.
The cue is then turned to its final tapered finish before the numerous sanding and finishing processes are undertaken. This is carried out in order to achieve a ‘silk smooth’ finish.
To eliminate joint problems the two sections of the ‘quick action’ joint are each precisely turned from a single piece of solid brass and precisely fitted 16” from the butt end to give the shaft length of 42”.
The butt is finished with a Peradon King name disc and ‘quick action’ butt end joint to accept the optional extensions on the ‘related products’ section of this page (note: 6” mini butts are available in Olivewood to match this cue).
Extensions may be fitted into either the ¾ joint in the cue or into the butt end joint.
This cue features a solid brass ferrule and 9 ½ to 10mm Elkmaster tip.
Finally, to ensure the cue remains in perfect condition for every game follow these simple guidelines:
- Store your cue in a cue case in a cool, dry place or on a cue rack.
- Keep your cue away from heat i.e. radiators/ hot pipes/ hot vehicles.
- Do not lean your cue against a wall.
- Refrain from leaning on your cue whilst playing.
- Do not bang the butt of cue on the floor to acknowledge good strokes.
Furthermore, whilst purchasing a new cue we can change the tip for one more suited to your liking with no extra cost added.
