Peradon Chiltern Snooker Cue
Peradon Chiltern Snooker Cue.
This full size, 58 inch, ¾ jointed cue is crafted by Peradon in England. It is produced using the highest grade, kiln dried, North American Ash and exotic Ebony. The ash is then carefully selected for strength and straightness before the finest, genuine Ebony butt timber is hand spliced to the cue. Next, the cue is shaped to produce the distinctive four round point pattern of a hand spliced cue.
The decorative Zebrano butt timber and sycamore veneer are then hand spliced to the Ebony butt.
To reduce stress to the timbers, the cue is then shaped over time until the final shape is achieved. After which, the numerous sanding and finishing processes are then undertaken to achieve a ‘silk smooth’ finish.
To eliminate joint problems the two sections of the ‘quick action’ joint are each precisely turned from a single piece of solid brass. They are then fitted 16 inches from the butt end to give the shaft length of 42 inches.
The butt is finished with a Peradon Chiltern name disc and ‘quick action’ butt end joint to accept the optional extensions. These extensions can be found on the ‘related products’ section at the bottom of this page.
Extensions may be fitted into either the ¾ joint in the cue or into the butt end joint.
This cue features a solid brass ferrule and 9 ½ to 10mm Elkmaster tip.
Finally, to ensure the cue remains in perfect condition for every game follow these simple guidelines:
- Store your cue in a cue case in a cool, dry place or on a cue rack.
- Keep your cue away from heat i.e. radiators/ hot pipes/ hot vehicles.
- Do not lean your cue against a wall.
- Refrain from leaning on your cue whilst playing.
- Do not bang the butt of cue on the floor to acknowledge good strokes.
Furthermore, whilst purchasing a new cue we can change the tip for one more suited to your liking with no extra cost added.
